REINDEER HEADBAND CRAFT FOR CHRISTMAS
Christmas is fast approaching and we couldn't be more excited!
There is almost a tangible holiday spirit in the air and it is magical. To celebrate, we always have some kind of hidden craft idea.Today we are sharing how to make this reindeer headband, complete with a free printable template. It's a fun and easy Christmas craft for kids!
This reindeer headband would look adorable for a class Christmas party, for kids at Christmas dinner or anytime during the holiday season!

PRINTABLE HEADBAND REINDEER CRAFT
SUPPLIES
- Kraft paper or brown card stock
- Colored card stock (in pink, red, dark brown and cream)
- Red glitter card stock (optional)
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Reindeer template (download form at the end of the post)
DIRECTIONS
- Download the free printable reindeer template, print and cut out the pieces.
- Glue the inner ears to the reindeer head.
- Position the muzzle in between and slightly below the eyes and glue in place.
- Glue the red glitter nose in the middle of the muzzle.
- Place the pink cheeks on either side of the muzzle and glue in place.
- Glue the antlers on top of the reindeer’s head, one on each side.
- Use glue, tape, glue dots or a stapler to secure the headband extensions on either side of the completed reindeer head. Place the rectangles so the bottom lines up with the bottom of the reindeer head.

There’s a version that has full color so you can simply print, cut and have a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer headband ready in a few minutes!
We have also given him a black and white version. For this, children or students can color it with crayons, markers or even paint if you use paper thick enough.

RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER
In our house, we love classic Christmas movies. Shows like Frosty the Snowman, the original Grinch and, of course, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!
While almost all children know Rudolph, many children today have never seen the classic movie.
Although there are certain things in the film that are outdated, it has excellent messages to persevere through its challenges, use its uniqueness as a benefit and forgive others!
And, of course, classic songs like We Are Santa Elves.

If you've never seen Rudolph or love watching him live every year, be sure to put the schedules on your phone so you can see him as a family!
It would be a great family night to make this reindeer headband and then see Rudolph along with some hot chocolate and popcorn.
